About

Our Mission

“To ensure that no child gets left behind by giving them the knowledge and skills to meet their full potential.”

Who are we

Innovation Education was founded in November 2023 by Joe Warmington (CEO). Joe is an experienced senior leader (NPQSL) and behaviour specialist who has worked as a senior leader in Pupil Referral Units (PRU), Special Education, mainstream and hospital school settings.

Innovation Education supports schools, families and young people to reduce exclusions, improve attendance and offer an alternative education. We receive referrals for young people from all over Greater Manchester. The young people we encounter are often at risk of permanent exclusion, have poor attendance or engagement and often have a range of additional needs.

Innovation Education staff have vast experience and work alongside schools to help support our young people by identifying any undiagnosed SEND or additional needs. Our staff will also provide feedback and reports for EHCP plans, professionals meetings or reviews.

What we offer

Innovation Education is a part time Alternative Provision that provides group and 1-1 education to vulnerable young people. We offer training and outreach support to schools and Local Authorities. In addition to this we have a bespoke mentoring service for young people. Innovation Education works with children and young people from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4.

Our onsite Alternative Provision caters for young people in Key Stages 3 to 4. We believe that every young person has a special talent or passion our highly skilled staff work with our young people to identify and nurture their talent or passion. In the process we raise aspirations to ensure that every young person meets their full potential.
